Midnight Ministries is a Nonprofit Evangelical
Organization eager to help fulfill Jesus’ commission to His
Church, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel
to every creature." We are NOT a Church, nor do we
intend for Midnight Ministries to proselytize ministers or
monies from any church or other Christian organizations.
What we do is exactly the opposite.
Our mission propagates a sort of "grass roots" effort to
grow local bodies of believers (Churches) by helping
Evangelists carry the Old Testament, New Testament and
their Testament to the highways and hedges of this lost
and captive world. Midnight Ministries wants to minister
to the Saints of God that have received the same Spirit that
came upon Isaiah and Jesus that says, "The Spirit of the
Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable
year of the Lord." Isaiah 61:1-2, Luke 4:18-19. We do
this by supplying monies and/or Bibles to Evangelists and
or Ministries that reach beyond the walls of their respective
churches in order to supply for the spiritual and/or
physical needs of the poor, addicted, homeless, and
imprisoned among us.
...is domestic missions where the local bodies of Christ
once again begin to carry the blessed gospel of peace out of
the walls of their respective churches. Today, it seems the
title of evangelist is given to preachers that make careers
of going church to church holding or running revivals,
preaching to the saved among us and to whichever lost
friends or family we manage to coach into our meetings.
Actually, they are not evangelizing, they are revitalizing,
so to speak. Thank God for them, but the FIELDS are
white unto harvest. O' how the church needs a revival, yes,
but what would a true revival cause a church to do?
Maybe instead of waiting on a revival to make us "GO", we
"GO" first and then revivals will follow? Because
remember,we're not to follow signs, signs are to follow us.
Afterwitnessing to the woman at the well, Jesus
enjoyed spiritual meat that his disciples knew not of.
Even Paul charged the young pastor Timothy to do the
same "...do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of
thy ministry."2 Timothy 4:5. How many pastors and
evangelists today are making full proof of their ministries,
or are they charging the flock with this task? The
bible gives an example in Acts where Philip actual left the
revivals in Samaria, which he wrought, and went to the
desert of Gazato witness to an Ethiopian; He left the 90
and 9 for the 1.
We believe there is another spiritual truth found in
the second chapter of Acts that has alluded most of the
modern church today; instead of trying to fill our pews by
witnessing about our churches or denominations, if we, the
individuals in the "Churches", busy ourselves going out
witnessing for Christ to save souls to the Kingdom of
Heaven, God will in turn add to our Churches "....And the
Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."
